Anyone know any fictional young adult books about teens with disabilities? I’ve read Five flavors of dumb.

Check out these blogs to find more books with disabled characters:

As a person with autism I don’t agree that Curious Incident is that great - it definitely reduces autism to its stereotypes. I haven’t found any fictional accounts of autism that definitely feel okay to me. But what a great list of resources!

I liked most things about Inappropriate Behavior by Pat Murphy. It’s a short story. It depicts a highly sensory autistic teenager positively.
