ninjatwins answered: I usually go with context. Some words can be slurs in one context and not in others, as in the case of a minority using/redefining it.
Yeah, that’s the other problem…
It would be bad for me to bleep a slur said by someone who has a legitimate claim on that word.
And it’s not always obvious.
And I don’t really want to go looking through people’s blogs trying to tell which category they’re in before I reblog stuff.
So now I’m not sure again.
